What do you do on a day-to-day basis?
I was assigned the project to work on. One of the most important parts of the internship was was "owning" my project, which means that I am responsible for everything regarding the design, execution, communication, and maintenance of the project.
How did you get your internship?
I got this internship by applying online and interviewing with the company.
How has your Alpha Kappa Psi experience helped you in your internship?
AKPsi helped me by giving me leadership opportunities that I could in turn draw from during my interviews and my time at the company.
Favorite thing about your internship?
I was able to experience the company's culture and noticed how our values reflect in our day to day work.
What are your takeaways from your internship? What has it taught you?
The internship allowed me to work with a team of experienced teammates who were excellent mentors and helped me develop both my hard skills and soft skills. I was also able to work on a project that taught me how to work efficiently as part of a team and stay in constant communication with different teams and stakeholders.
